The address of the bunk house is Glan Dwr Mountain Lodge, Capel Curig, Betws-y-coed, Conwy, LL24 0EN
Directions from the SOUTH (M54):
Access North Wales on the A5.
Travel through Betws-y-coed on the A5
Pass Swallow Falls and carry on up the hill out of Betws-y-coed.
Glan Dwr Mountain Lodge is about three miles from here.
The next town you will come to is Capel Curig. This is where Glan Dwr Mountain Lodge is located.
Carry on the main road, past a garage on your right, until you see signs for Plas y Brenin National Mountain Centre pointing left – do not take this turning, keep on the main A5.
Glan Dwr Mountain Lodge is just after the parade of shops on your left hand side, next to the Pinnacle stores.
From the NORTH (M6):
Head towards Bangor on the A5.
Once in Bangor, take the A5 South, towards Betws-y-coed (the lodge is approximately 25 minutes drive from here).
After passing through the village called Bethesda there is a long section of the journey through the Ogwen mountain valley (stunning views) and once you start seeing civilisation again, you will enter the village of Capel Curig.
Slow down at this point as the house Glan Dwr is set back from the road on the right hand side just after a bend and just before the Pinnacle café and shops. There is a good chance you’ll miss the house and have to turn around, but you should spot the Pinnacle café easily.
